What is bopomofo?
Bopomofo (zhuyin fuhao) is the phonetic script used in Taiwan: 37 symbols like ㄅㄆㄇㄈ plus tone marks. It is the most common way to type Chinese in Taiwan. This site lets you practice the standard Dachen keyboard layout without installing an IME.

Typing tones
Type the tone key at the end of each syllable: Space for 1st tone, 6 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd, 4 for 4th, and 7 for the neutral tone.
